This is amongst the most luxurious of ecological hotels in the Amazon in Ecuador. It is set within the Yasunì National Park, an important UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and the largest tract of hte most pristine tropical rain forest in Ecuador. The lodge consists of 16 luxury cabañas. It is well appointed and has all the creatures comforts available so deep within the jungle. The central structure, or main hall, of Napo Wildlife Center, has the traditional openness of Kichwa architecture which make it comfortable even during the heat of midday.This is where meals are served, and it also offers several comfortable social areas, including a full-stocked bar, reading lounge where briefings may also be conducted and a 18m high observation tower that provides a 360-degree view of the surrounding wilderness, and from which you can even see the Andes on a clear day. The lodge provides some excursions around the park in the jungle on land or in the river. There is a short trail that runs behind this building, very popular for evening strolls where busy nocturnal creatures come to life.
